Blogvertise Might Not Be My First Option

Blogvertise works in a slightly different manner from how the other blog review networks are run. For starters you are not required to login and bid on the offers, they will contact you, via email, when an offer fits your specifications.

This is a feature that I actually like because with the other networks you have to keep logging in and checking multiple times a day if you want any chance of grabbing an opportunity. With Blogvertise they will reserve the opportunity for you and then send you an email with all the information you will need to complete the review.

I signed up with them when I had a PR2 blog and was seeing reviews priced at between $6.00 to $8.00. Things changed dramatically when I was punished by Google for doing too many reviews and lost my PR.

I now have three blogs listed with them, two are a PR0 and one is a PR1 and I have received one or two offers in the past 18 months. And these have been 200 word reviews for $1.00, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that I turned them down.

The reviews that I’ve received have been mainly about finance (credit cards, loans, mortgages, etc) or holidaying in a sunny location like Spain or Mexico. If you don’t mind reviewing things like that, have a blog that is round 3 months old and has regular posting schedule then you should have no problem being accepted.

Good Points

– Approved me very quickly.

– Will contact you, you don’t have to login multiple times a day.

– Have a referral program.

Bad Points

– No reviews for PR0/PR1 blogs.

– Review prices seem to have plummeted lately to £1.00 a review.

– Pay 30 days after approval.

I personally would not rely on Blogvertise to make a lot of money for me. I currently use them as part of a collection of networks to earn money from. That way if they fail you have others around to keep you going.
