5 Sites To Sell Your Blog

I have read various blog posts over the years about people who make very good incomes from building up blogs and web sites just to sell them on for a nice big fat profit. It doesn’t seem to matter what the subjects are about, MMO or even blackhead removal, there seems to always be a buyer if your site is done well.

If you have ever wondered about selling your blog or web site then it can be hard to find a buyer, especially a buyer who is interested in your particular niche if it is an obscure one. Below I have listed just a couple of places to help you.

Digital Point – The place I always check out first when buying anything for my blog. Listing your site is free.

Flippa – Considered the number one place to sell and buy sites online.

Website Broker – Another popular site. Your listing is active for three months for a great fee of $9.95.

Deal-A-Site – Not a very nice layout but they do not charge to list your site.

Buy Sell Website – A nice safe site that also lets you sell domains.

I hope you find these helpful. 🙂

  1. Website flipping can be a very lucrative career. I have done it a couple of times using Flippa. A good list for anybody wanting to do it.

I suggest buying sites at least 1 year old, drive traffic to them for 3 months then sell them on. You can make a tidy profit.

    • This has always been something that I have wanted to do so thought creating a post about it would help kick me into doing it. 🙂

Your advice in your comment is very good. When I do take the plunge I will be doing a lot of research on any site I think about buying before I part with my money. 🙂

  2. I think Flippa is the best site for us to sell our websites. I have some friends, they really worked on this area which is building website for 2,3 months with a litle traffic and sell it on Flippa. You can have a good price with a good blog. Thanks

    • Flippa seems to be the popular one. I have heard a lot of people talk about SitePoint as well. But then again I have heard some bad things about that particular site as well (buyers doing a runner, sites not as they were advertised, etc).

  3. Nice list mate! Its good to know these things.. But I don’t think i’ll have to sell my blog 😀
